Golden Dragon Buffet in Slidell

One of the last few decent buffet places I've been. I take my son and my father with me as we go. Enjoyable and quiet. Haven't had major problem with the food. Get there around 12 for the fresh food tho

It was very safe and clean I enjoy the food and service was superb

Better then most places they actually know how to space people and follow the social distancing stuff, they give you gloves and let you self serve here and the food was hot and ready to go

Once again, I was pleased with the lunch portion of this buffett!

The Golden Dragon Buffet is, by today's standard, a fully equipped buffet restaurant. It has cold and hot food as well as a sushi bar. The sushi bar, by my standard, was not kept up properly, as it had many, almost, empty trays. I noticed that they didn't offer any beef nor pork, something I highly appreciate. It's better for your health that way. They also offer senior discount. I like the place and will return even if the sushi bar could have been better kept. Yes, I will recommend the place for my friends.

It's an excellent Chinese restaurant to go eat at I have no complaints none whatsoever like I do with 90% of the Chinese restaurants I eat at the atmosphere is warming and is comfortable that is very polite

The buffet is wonderful they had everything set up for covid social distancing. And crawfish and boiled crabs we're good.. did I mention it was a buffet all you can eat!

The food was sitting there so long that the rice noodles were hard and crunchy. Little to none of the food was fresh. The taste was ok. There are way better places you can go to than here for the price.

Great place to try out Southern, and Chinese Foods. Very good prices.

Hands down best Chinese buffet I have visited. The food was well seasoned. I will be returning upon my next Slidell visit

I wanted to check out their senior menu, they don't have one,so I asked if they had a senior discount...they took .75 cents off the 18.00 bill.. I wish I could recommend Golden Dragon, but, I can't. The small plate I got had noodles, mushrooms and chicken. Also a sweet tea. I was trying to eat cheap, and feel like I got bamboozled. Won't go there again.

Servers are really nice but food taste and temperature are very inconsistent. Overall, the food is good when it's hot. However, after 8 the kitchen staff seem very lazy, hardly replacing dishes for fresh food and rushing to prepare new servings.

The food is exquisite and fresh at all times. So many items to choose from. They keep the food coming at all time and restaurant is always clean.

It was terrible! The food was cold , my waitress was very RUDE! The drinks were terrible ! This not a good buffet, don’t bother going !

it's okay i would've given it 3.5 if i could. Some of the food wasn't great but most was good. The best part was the desert. The price is okay. I would eat here again.

Always a good buffet. Personally always wary of seafood at buffets no matter where I go but I still try it at golden dragon and haven't been made a fool of yet.

So tonight. The food was decent. But the waitresses need a schooling on manners. Don't come eat crawfish next to your customers and smack like you a blinker in a car or a catfish gasping for air. Don't come running a vacuum cleaner next to me or sweep next to me while I eat my food. And please don't reach over my plate or anyone's plate to grab their empty drinking glass that's very rude. I hope this gets handled by the owner.

The nicest, friendliest, staff in this kind of restaurant I've ever seen. Well done. I eat in this kind of restaurant a lot as I travel through the country. Excellent food, excellent variety.

Flavors non-existent. Same stuff, waitress with the same "What you drink" then gone. Not worth your money

If you know Good seafood, you will not like this place AT ALL!! Have you ever eaten Shane's or Juicy crab?? Yeah, well this is the WISH version of both.

Food poisoning the first time I went there a year ago. And now super cold food for covid-19. Dont waste your time or money.

It was amazing! Their sushi is homemade and they have an exceedingly delightful menu when it comes to ice cream and sweets! They also have Japanese and Chinese food! Its great! Five stars.

They have a wide variety on the buffet, including sushi made fresh, or to order. If you want a fast, cheap Chinese meal, it's certainly the place to go, in my opinion. The price is reasonable, the place is clean and the staff is courteous. Wait staff is good at keeping your beverage glass filled

The best been going to see Mr. Steve and his Wife for great food for over 17 years. Go try it you will love the food service selection variety and prices.

Very good food and made sure everyone there were following the rules because of being a buffet wearing, mask,and gloves provided by restaurant .

It is really packed here at Golden Dragon Buffet ll today. There are more people than there are seats but the staff seems to be handling it well the egg rolls are good but there's something missing a certain flavor I can't put my finger on it. Although the muscles are delicious as always I love this place and I'm not just speaking as a food critic I'm speaking as a satisfied customer and Steve and his wife are doing a good job with this place

WOW! If you are in the area and looking for a seafood fix check this place out! Not only do they have a great buffet selection they will satisfy your seafood needs. Price is $13 for buffet but it is well worth it! If I am back in the area I am definitely returning!

This was my first time at this buffet. It was a nice change. Lots of seafood including at least six types of shrimp. Everything was seasoned well and well stocked. I will be back.

Not disappointed at all. It was as advertised. Good food and lots of options. Nice variety of seafood and spicy food. Reasonable priced and didn't have to wait for anything. Waitress kept the drinks full and table cleared.

Very RUDE people. We pulled out a laptop, and then everybody forgot what privacy was. The staff kept lurking behind us, while we were talking with friends of ours over video. I understand this is a public place, But Really? To lurk like that? Overall, food quality was a 2/5. Luke warm food overall, Lacking taste, and flavor. Staff was decent. But are we coming back here? Definitely NOT!!!
